By placing an order with My Deer Ivy, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Product Safety and Care
My Deer Ivy products are handcrafted decorative items and are not toys.
Some products may contain small parts and should be kept out of reach of babies and young children. Products should be displayed securely and used only for their intended decorative purpose.
Our handmade products are delicate and should be handled with care. Damage caused by dropping, rough handling, misuse, exposure to moisture or failure to follow reasonable care instructions is not considered a product fault.
To keep your My Deer Ivy piece looking beautiful, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and avoid excessive moisture or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Handmade Products and Natural Variations
Each My Deer Ivy product is individually handcrafted.
As timber is a natural material, variations in wood grain, texture, knots, colour and finish may occur. Small differences between products are part of the handmade nature of our pieces and are not considered faults.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your computer, mobile device, screen settings or lighting conditions.
We make every effort to ensure that our product photographs and descriptions accurately represent each item.
Personalised and Custom Orders
Customers are responsible for checking all names, spelling, dates, colours and other personalised details before submitting an order.
Please contact us immediately at [email protected] if you notice an error after placing your order.
We will make changes where possible, but once production has started, we may be unable to amend or cancel a personalised or custom order.
My Deer Ivy is not responsible for errors entered or approved by the customer.
This does not affect your rights if an item is supplied incorrectly or does not match the details submitted with your order.
Pricing and GST
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars.
My Deer Ivy is not currently registered for GST, so GST is not included or separately charged on our products.
Australian businesses are generally required to register for GST once their GST turnover reaches the applicable registration threshold.
Payments
Our online store is hosted by Big Cartel.
Payments are securely processed using the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include Stripe, PayPal, major credit cards and Afterpay.
Orders will not enter production or be dispatched until payment has been received in full.
If a payment is declined, reversed or remains incomplete, your order may not be processed and stock cannot be reserved.
Order Cancellations
Please choose carefully before placing your order.
Because many My Deer Ivy products are handmade, made to order or personalised, we generally cannot accept cancellations or changes once production has begun.
Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] if you need to request a change or cancellation. We will assist where possible, but cannot guarantee that a change can be made.
Change-of-Mind Returns
My Deer Ivy does not offer refunds, returns or exchanges where a customer:
- changes their mind
- selects the wrong product, colour or size
- enters incorrect personalised information
- no longer wants or needs the product
- finds the product available elsewhere at a different price
This does not affect any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take great care when creating and packaging every order.
Please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible if your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or significantly different from its description.
Please include:
- your name and order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photographs of the product
- photographs of the packaging if the item was damaged during delivery
Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement or refund.
My Deer Ivy may request that the item be returned before providing a remedy. Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, reasonable return postage costs will be covered by My Deer Ivy.
Consumer remedies depend on whether the issue is a minor or major failure, and businesses cannot remove these rights through their own warranty or returns policy.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address entered by the customer at checkout.
Please check your delivery details carefully before completing your order. My Deer Ivy is not responsible for delays, additional costs or lost parcels caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
Estimated production and dispatch times are provided on the website or individual product listings. These timeframes are estimates and may vary during busy periods, promotions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.
Please contact us if you experience an issue with the delivery of your order so that we can assist with the postal or courier provider.
Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time, My Deer Ivy may offer promotions, sales or discount codes.
Promotions:
- are valid only during the stated promotional period
- cannot be applied to previous orders
- cannot be redeemed for cash
- may exclude selected products or collections
- cannot be combined with another offer unless otherwise stated
- are subject to any additional conditions displayed at the time
My Deer Ivy may amend or withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary, including where there has been an error, misuse or circumstance outside our control.
Nothing in this section affects rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may share our social media content using the platform's built-in sharing functions, provided the content is not altered and My Deer Ivy is clearly credited.
Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in further action.
